L'entreprise

Inserm is the only French public organization entirely dedicated to biological, medical, and population health research. It has research laboratories throughout France, grouped into 12 regional delegations. Our institute brings together 15,000 researchers, engineers, technicians, and administrative staff with a common goal: to improve everyone's health through advances in knowledge about living organisms and diseases, innovation in treatments, and public health research.

Joining Inserm means joining an institute committed to gender parity and professional equality, diversity, and support for its employees with disabilities, from recruitment and throughout their careers. In order to promote well-being at work, Inserm pursues an active policy on working conditions, based in particular on a fair balance between personal and professional life.

In 2016, Inserm received the European HR Excellence in Research label and committed to developing its recruitment and evaluation practices for researchers.

The INSERM U970 Paris-Cardiovascular research Center (PARCC) was created in 2009 at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital (Paris, France). The 14 PARCC research teams are conducting projects spanning basic molecular and cellular biology to integrate physiology and pathophysiology, biomarkers, genetics and epidemiology, with the goal of furthering the understanding of major cardiovascular disease, including atherosclerosis, hypertension, heart failure and sudden cardiac death. Translational research is an integral part of the mission of the PARCC, in close connection with clinical laboratories and departments of HEGP.

Main mission

Main activities
As part of the SALVAGE project, the agent will develop an automated imaging analysis tool that will perform radiomic analysis of the carotid wall using raw radiofrequency signals acquired during the first and second waves of EPP3 visits. A significant part of their work will involve ensuring the interoperability and consistency of measurements acquired during the first and second waves of EPP3 visits using two different devices. The agent will also be responsible for statistical and machine learning analysis of the results.
