À propos du poste

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Support Specialist (PSS) to lead and coordinate the implementation of integrative single cell/spatial multiomics analyses in transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics studies within the European-funded P4Health project.

 

Based at IGBMC, the PSS will work closely with IGBMC scientific platforms and internal and external experts in integrative analyses of multimodal transcriptomics data to design, plan and develop protocols for such integrative analyses.

·     COORDINATION: Defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the multiomics project in consultation with P4H Principal Investigator at the IGBMC

·     COORDINATION: Establishing task timelines and work plans

·     COORDINATION: Supervision of research personnel and monitoring the overall progress of the task, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are achieved on time

·     COORDINATION: Identifying and addressing any technical, operational, or financial risks that could impact task success.

·     COORDINATION: Reporting to the Principal Investigator and at the consortium meetings

·     SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Designing, developing and managing spatial and single cell analyses (to be supported by established expertise of in-house platforms and collaborating institutions including Kings College London, PRISM laboratory at the University of Lille and Allen Brain Institute)

·     SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Preparing detailed protocols and establishing standard operating procedures for study execution, including sample collection, analysis, and data interpretation

·     SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Coordinating the integration of multiomics data to ensure high-quality analysis and reporting

·     SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Working with scientific teams to adapt methodologies based on project outcomes and emerging challenges.

·     SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Providing scientific guidance and troubleshooting support to project teams and partners

·     TEAMING: Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.

·     TEAMING: Organizing training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team and partner expertise

Connaissances

·     Analyses of single cell and spatial omics data (transcriptomics and/or metabolomics and/or proteomics)

·     Sound background in biocomputing (knowledge of machine learning will be of benefit)

·     General scientific knowledge of neurobiology or cellular biology

·     Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)

·     Project management skills, including planning, supervision and reporting

·     Communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders

·     Organizational skills and high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Expérience(s) souhaité(s)

·     Experience in integrative single cell and spatial analyses in one or more of the following modalities transcriptomics, metabolomics and/or proteomics

·     Experience or exposure to best practices in omics analyses

·     Proficiency in using AI tools and/or machine learning will be very welcome

·     Programming in R and Phyton…

Niveau de diplôme et formation(s)

·     PhD in bioinformatics or biomedical research or a related field (e.g., biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, pharmacology).
